Dear Teachers,
I am VERY pleased to announce the beginning of a series of FREE workshops
on energy education in WV. Through a unique partnership with The National
Energy Education Development (NEED) program, the NASA IV&V Facility
Educator Resource Center, and the National Alternative Fuels Training
Consortium, 5-12th grade teachers in WV are eligible to participate in your
choice of Hydrogen and/or Biofuel workshops. (More workshops on wind,
solar, and more are on the horizon.)
Not only will you receive training and materials on grade appropriate,
standards-based, hands-on, learning activities, but your county will be
compensated for your substitute, your meals are provided, and you will
receive classroom kits to bring back to your school worth hundreds of
dollars. (Funding is provided through a Dept. of Energy grant.)
Space is very limited, so please register soon using the attached .pdf form.
Energetically yours,
Todd
